I write for organizations that are doing something worth documenting properly.

Mission and organizational writing: Newsletters, appeals, reports — the storytelling that makes a reader care about work happening far away from them. I've done this for Carry Them Ministries, Call to Obedience Ministry Nigeria, and H.O.P.E. USA.
Policy and governance documents: Constitutions, bye-laws, operational frameworks, proposals. The unglamorous writing that decides how an institution behaves when nobody is watching. Most recently, the full governance suite for G4G Cooperative, a member-owned financial institution.
Ghostwriting: Essays, columns, and long-form published under your name. The argument is yours; the sentences are mine. I don't need the credit and I don't discuss the work.

What all of these fail at is the same thing: vagueness. A newsletter that could describe any organization. A policy that gestures at a rule instead of closing the door. An argument that never quite commits. I write to be precise enough to be inconvenient.

I work best with people who know what they want said and need help saying it exactly — and with institutions whose governing documents need to shut loopholes rather than wave at them.
